List of Individuals With Findings of Abuse, Neglect, or Exploitation
Federal law prohibits the employment in a nursing facility of an individual who has been found guilty of abuse, neglect or exploitation by a court of law; or have had a finding entered into the Kansas Nurse Aide Registry concerning abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Before allowing an individual to serve as a nurse aide, a facility must receive registry verification that the individual has met competency evaluation requirements. This list does not include individuals who are prohibited due to those criminal convictions listed in KSA 39-970 and KSA 65-5117. For further information concerning the laws relating to the criminal record check requirements contact Amber Monzon-Hernandez at (785) 296-1253.
