Prevention of Elder Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation (PEANE) Grants

PEANE funds are made available to selected grantees for projects that provide either education, training or research for the prevention or awareness of elder abuse, neglect, exploitation or fiduciary abuse of the elderly. The grants may also be used to provide public education and outreach to promote financial literacy and prevent identity theft and financial exploitation of older individuals. Through an annual request-for-proposal process, KDADS grants the funds to a variety of agencies and organizations.
