On July 1, 2012, under an executive order by Governor Sam Brownback the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) was formed. At that time, certain programs from the then Kansas Department on Aging (KDOA), Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS) and the Department Health and the Environment (KDHE) were incorporated into KDADS in order to streamline the delivery of state services.
In this continued effort, all website information formerly on the SRS/DCF or KDHE websites have now been merged into KDADS website.
