Technology Assisted Waiver Renewal Public Comment Period

On August 1, 2013, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) a five-year Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Technology Assisted Waiver under the authority of 1915 (c) of the Social Security Act.

This waiver is now up for renewal on August 1, 2018.

You are invited to provide public comment on the TA Waiver Renewal at two upcoming forums hosted by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS). Each session will offer an overview of the Waiver and feedback opportunities. Please join us by phone or in person at one of these forums:

The full public comment period for the TA Waiver Renewal is March 1 – March 31, 2018. You can provide public comment to KDADS anytime throughout the comment period.  If you are not able to attend one of these meetings, you can provide your comments or request a copy of the waiver by email to: Michele.Heydon@ks.gov.
