The 2026 Kansas Governor's Conference on Aging will build on last year's momentum by convening health professionals, policymakers, students, educators, and community leaders from across Kansas to share ideas, strengthen cross-sector partnerships, and elevate aging-related work statewide.

About This Year's Conference

This year's conference focuses on strengthening the workforce that supports older adults across health care, home and community-based services (HCBS), aging services and community systems. The conference theme highlights workforce development across all tracks, with particular emphasis on:

  • Recruitment and retention of the aging services workforce
  • Education, training, and career pathways
  • Evidence-based practices that strengthen service delivery
  • Collaboration between health systems, education, and community partners


Abstract Submissions Are Now Closed

Thank you to everyone who submitted. Abstracts will be reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the summer. Submitters will be notified of decisions as reviews are completed.


Registration Opens July 2026

Registration includes access to all sessions, meals, continuing education credits, and conference materials.

CE Statement: Continuing education credit will be offered as appropriate for physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, adult care home administrators, and registered and licensed dietitians. Participants may also request a certificate of attendance.
