The Treatment Resource Center contains treatment resources that can be helpful to CBS professionals. These resources are not required and should be select based on the individual's diagnosis and needs, as described in the Treatment Plan and in consultation with your supervisor.
The Kansas Psychotropic Medication Utilization Parameters (PMUR) for Children and Youth in Foster Care is meant to inform the practice of pediatric psychopharmacology in this population and to provide a framework to promote the provision of quality psychiatric services to children in foster care in the state of Kansas. These guidelines are not meant to supersede the clinical judgment of providers working closely with foster children and their caregivers.
After completing training, the next step is to apply what was learned. This occurs through experience, supervision and team support. Periodically, resources and resource guidelines will be provided to assist CMHCs with ITP. Resources will be maintained on this page for easy reference.
