If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, help is available. Contact the Problem Gambling Helpline at 800-522-4700; professionals are available 24 hours a day to take your call. Help is available at no-cost to the problem gambler and their concerned others. You can also go to Kansas Gambling Help for more information and resources.
As people try to stop gambling, they may choose self-exclusion as a recovery option. Most casinos have a self-exclusion program where the gambler requests to be excluded from entering the casino. The gambler making this request is also excluded from cashing checks, as well as using credit cards. A person may also request to be taken off all casino mailing lists.
In Kansas, each casino has a different self-exclusion procedure; please contact each Kansas casino for self-exclusion information.
